John Paul Alan

Late in the evening of the 10th May 2005, Grace had an emergency Caesarean operation from which was delivered our son, John Paul Alan, who weighed 1.8kg / 4lbs at 2247hrs. after 32 weeks gestation.

We thank God for saving the lives of both Grace and John - we understand from the consultant that both of them were nearly lost.

We would also like to pay tribute to all those involved at Hamad Woman's Hospital, Doha, Qatar, for saving their lives and taking such good care of them - especially through those critical days in the intensive care unit.

John came home from hospital on 2 June 2005.
